Book Scavenger is a series written by Jennifer Chambliss Bertman. It is a three book series. The books are Book Scavenger (Book 1), The Unbreakable Code (Book 2), and The Alcatraz Escape (Book 3). In the book, Garrison Griswold is the creator of the website Book Scavenger. Book Scavenger is a book code in which you hide a book and write a code to where the book is hidden. You can then collect points by finding a book. Book Scavenger is Emily Crane’s life. She and her friend James Lee look for a book hidden in a bench near a subway, but they enter the subway and find what may be the start of Garrison Griswold’s new game…….. Book Scavenger is a fun, mysterious, code filled book.

The first book I will be reviewing is The Hobbit by J. R. R. Tolkien written in 1932. The Hobbit is a fantasy book that takes place in Middle Earth. In Middle Earth there is dwarves, wizards, trolls, hobbits and many other creatures. Bilbo Baggins was just a normal hobbit until he met Gandalf the wizard, Thorin son of Thrain son of Thror, and their company of dwarves. They convince Bilbo to join them on their perilous quest to regain their lost kingdom taken by Smaug the Terrible, a dragon. It is a suspenseful, surprising, fun book. If you like fantasy then you will probably like The Hobbit.
